Wise has been selected as one of the key providers for Google’s newly introduced remittance experience.
This service, currently being tested in the US, will enable consumers to access Wise’s international payment services via Google Wallet online or through Google Search when looking up specific currency exchange rates.
The remittance feature allows users searching for international payment options on popular currency routes from USD to INR, PHP, MXN and BRL to compare providers, including Wise, based on transparent information about fees and transaction times.
Lauren Langbridge, Commercial Director for Wise Platform, said:

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Google in helping to bring this new remittance experience to life. Sending money abroad is a routine necessity for millions of people and businesses, but it’s not always easy for customers to find the right provider. By joining forces with Google, Wise will enable fast, reliable international payments for more users across the U.S., and empower everyday people to make the best choice based on their needs.”
Wise Platform underpins international payments for a range of financial institutions and digital platforms, including Morgan Stanley, Standard Chartered, Brex and Ramp.
Over the past 14 years, Wise has developed infrastructure aimed at simplifying the complexities involved in moving money across borders.
The collaboration with Google reflects Wise’s established capability to provide fast and reliable international payment services as demand grows among American consumers.
