Wix, a global platform for website creation and business management, has announced the launch of Wix Checking and Wix Capital, a new set of financial services designed to help users manage cash flow and access funding.
Wix Checking, powered by Unit’s embedded finance solution, provides eligible businesses with an integrated business checking account within the Wix platform at no additional cost.
The service enables users to view cash flow and business performance in real time, access earnings immediately after a sale, and track revenue and expenses side by side.
Funds can be used via the Wix Visa business debit card or transferred to an external bank account.
The account syncs automatically with Wix Payments, reducing the need for manual reconciliations or external banking tools.
Wix Capital, also launched at the same time, offers a Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) service for businesses seeking quick access to funds.
Users can request a cash advance in exchange for a fixed fee and a percentage of future sales, with funds available for purposes such as inventory, payroll, or operational costs.
The service is aimed at providing a more accessible alternative to traditional bank loans, which can involve lengthy approval processes and strict requirements.
“With Wix Checking and Wix Capital, we’re giving users a complete financial solution built into the platform they already use,”
said representatives from Wix Payments.
“It’s fast, simple, and designed to help small businesses access their money and fuel growth, all in one place. This is part of our broader commitment to supporting the full journey of business ownership, from managing day-to-day operations to making smarter financial decisions.”
