Corpay, an Atlanta-based business payments company, has announced the appointment of Peter Walker as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective July 21.
Walker joins Corpay from Instructure Holdings, where he most recently served as CFO.
During his time at Instructure, he oversaw the company’s sale to KKR, leading its transition from a public to a private entity.
Prior to this, he held CFO roles at Sterling Check and Jackson Hewitt.
Earlier in his career, he spent over 17 years at Assurant in various finance, accounting, and strategy positions, concluding his tenure there as CFO and Chief Strategy Officer.
Walker began his career at Ernst & Young.
He is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami University, as well as an MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
Following Walker’s appointment, interim CFO Alissa Vickery will resume her role as Chief Accounting Officer.
