Responsibilities
  • Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
  • Collaborate with key Product, Business, and Technical partners to identify, understand, and prioritize key product needs in the backlog based on impact, complexity, cost and demand.
  • Drive and empower experimentation with emerging technologies including GenAI, with tooling, frameworks, guardrails, models and environments.
  • Research emerging trends and identify partnerships that unlock opportunity for American Express
  • Delivers roadmap of useful capabilities to the R&D team and partners who need this for early stage technologies integrations and implementation.
  • Navigate and understand a sophisticated and constantly evolving technology space with an open mind, creative problem solving skills, and a bias for early action.
  • Operationalize key organizational change activities to ensure pilots and experiments meet targets.
  • Partner across the organization to lead R&D efforts and processes in acquiring an in-depth understanding of customer needs, and applying both strategic and tactical methods to stay on top of the evolving trends in the competitive landscape.
  • You will be strategic problem solver and architect for the future technologies to help CTO R&D and implement business strategy.
  • Drive continuous organizational and leadership development to enable R&D growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Science, Technology, or Engineering
  • 6 Plus years of project management, product management and/or leadership experience in technology roles.
  • A deep understanding of the FinTech industry.
  • Proven track record building, launching and driving products.
  • Ability to bring innovative thinking couples with practical execution to solve multi-dimensional issues.
  • Proven leadership and management experience in working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams on sophisticated projects.
  • Ability to influence leadership to adopt new insights, products and/or approaches
  • Brings support and positive attributes to a culture that is respectful, encouraging, results oriented, scientific and diverse.
